How about the pics Kyle? Better than any I've shot in my xmodding career, lol...
I just popped the receiver out of the case and am working on mounting it down. Now, I just gotta dig up some wire for the batteries, lol... Later, RedSXmodder |

I'll admit they're good, but if you want better ones, you know what to do.

Is the Futaba receiver gonna fit in there? Now all you need a really low turn motor with a lipo of coarse or get a micro-t brushless.
Looks darn sweet, sweeter if you made a custom CF chassis, but that would be kinda overkill to make imo. Lovin how it looks, keep it up! |

Its not much heavier than stock. By removing the stock gen1 rear end, I cut off a butt load of weight. Plus, the HOT motor keeps the car moving good and quick.
Thanks for the comments guys! |

Have you ever seen the end of one of my projects? Exactly. Everything I build technically doesn't have an end point. Eventually I'll get bored with it and take it up a notch.
BTW, what do you mean all the way? If by all the way you mean make love to it, I don't plan on it... |

Lol, here's the body on the chassis. Since the hacked pan car body is pretty much the only thing that'll fit over the top of these elecs (300C's to narrow), I'm stuck with a hacked pan car...
Whos diggin the DPS sticker, even though I don't have a DPS... |

Not really sure. It has the upgrades to compete, but I just lack the driving skills, lol...

I'll start with some pics. I'm working off my fathers laptop, so i can't resize the pics. thumbnails will have to do:
So one of my back rooms has a very nice hard carpet on it, and after messing around a little on it, I realized that it could make a nice racing surface. Its not a huge room so my track wasn't giant at all. Plus, since I lacked a timing system, I taped my Ipod to my Futaba and used the stopwatch setup to throw some lap times down. The track setup I made would be considered easy to some, but for me, it looked to be about an intermediate track. My car was running a setup like this: 36t Handwound Motor Intellect 750s Medium springs in front Medium T-plate in rear Diff is where I want it 4.5 degree tie rod and a stock roll shock The car handled, from my personal experience well. Actually far beyond my expectations. At first, I was running a 30t motor, but it lacked the torque for my 9t pinion that i like using, so I dropped in a 36t, and it really throws the car around. One thing I disliked about the drive setup as far as elecs go, was the batteries. They were great as far as punch goes, but it made everything kinda jumpy. Throttle wasn't as smooth as i would have liked. Suspension wise, I think the setup was dialed. I could sweep into the corners well, and throttle out of the tight stuff. The diff was smooth (gotta remember to pick up some friction grease), but I feel it could have been smoother. I didn't really do any tuning besides a little tightening so that could be the problem. I did a session of 10 laps for the timing. In my first timing session I put down a time of 1 minute and 15 seconds. I knew i could do better. So, after a bit of messing around with the car, I put down a better set at 1 minute flat. Even still, i was bumping walls and stopping to pull myself out of errors, so I don't think it accurately reflected the cars performance. After some more practice, I had the corners down and knew when to throttle around the corner, or when to take the inside or outside. I went to timing again. Didn't bump a single wall, nailed all the turns perfectly and pulled off an amazing (to me) 46 seconds. As goofy as the pan car may look, i'm going to stick with it. Its nice and wide, and I like wide. The car is incredibly stable, and is capable of taking turns at fairly high speeds. But now since this would be an open class car, and seeing as its so wide, I'm gonna need some more powerful batteries. The Intellects I have work nicely, but how are the TO HV 900's? I know this may not sound to impressive for the Z guys, but I was very proud of what my car could do. Just the Z rear end does so much to the feel of throttle and even the steer of the car. Since I have a feeling I won't see to much RCP in the coming months, I've decided to start driving more on my carpet. Anyone know a good place for some quality foam tires? looks nice man. You said a 37t motor in the specs and a 36t in the actually paragraphs. I might have missed it somewhere but is this awd or rwd? I think i might actually keep my track car.I was thinking of selling all my xmods but i might keep the track car to beat yours. lol. But really nice, i like ie, and did you win something with the ribbon?
