Complete List of Tools/Materials for modding XMODS bodies/chassis?
Does anyone know of or can produce a list of tools (painting tools, other tools) and materials? (Putty, etc.) I'd like to start on a body overhaul on my Mustang and don't know where to start with tools. I might have a lot already because my dad has tons of stuff. I already have access to a dremel with a circle cutter (whatever you call them) and tons of small bits. I have my own soldering iron (25W I think) with a pencil tip and I might have putty laying around. My dad has an awesome but very messy workbench.
Thanks.

heres a list that was put together a while back for a budget tool list
http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/show...ht=tools+trade as for putty milliputt or tamiya quick dry putty seems to be the best from my experience. those are both 2 part epoxy putties. hold up and are easy to work with the single part putties from first hand experience, and others. most single part is basically like toothpaste. have to apply extremely thin layers, and sand lightly or it breaks off.
