please don't double post.
anyways, the aaa's you'll need to modify the battery tray slightly because the buttons are a bit wider. and it has to be run in a 2s2p setup and no, there's no kit.

Then get Orion 900 mAh high output AAAs and stop complaining. Liths are overkill and hassle imo and the orions work very well. If $10 isn't too much for you, get R1Wurks matched set for $20.

but it wouldn't be any big difference from 4 nimh cells so whats the purpose.
EDIT: I meant that the run time would be so low it would be rediculous. Correct me if Im wrong.

Right because the AAAs are only 320mah, So your run time would be half of that of 2 AA liths. The only good application for these would be to modify your battery trays and use 4 of them.

Yes you can, don't get stuck oh lipo being faster then Li-ion. you won't notice the difference, you'll just see the car is insane fast either way. Yes you can modify the tray for these AAA lith cells and use your underglow with it. Actually if you PM me I can do it for you if you don't know how. PM me. For the same price of buying the cells yourself I can provide the cells, modify the tray and install them.

no. You don't need to stack any FETs when you add liths. FET stacking is determined by the motor your using.

idk if im "gravedigging" or not, being as i started this thread and still curious on its topic (tell me if im breaking some rule here)
so anyways, would one expect the same power with 4 aaa liths as with 2 aa liths/ li-po packs? would one expect the same run-time with 4 aaa liths as with 2 aa liths/lipo packs? or would i be better off(performance wise) going with 2 aa liths/lipo packs? (im trying to figure out if i want to run stock chasis with the RS underglow(be easier and cheaper) with 4 aaa liths.... or use a stilleto(or similar chassis) with some form of custom underglow(any suggestions here?) and aa liths/lipo packs(is there ANY upside to running lipo over lion if using a stilleto chasis?) |
