My Dually Conept. (And a how-to)
I was working on my Silverlade today, and I though, how am I goin gto do the duallies in the back? Well, I though of this.
My dually concept. I have not tried the wheels on my truck yet, they are still drying, which is why it is concept. Sorry for the blury pics. What you need: - Two wheels (If it is the same size as an xmod wheel, use the xmod wheel and a model wheel. - Super glue NOTE: Also, note that if you are not using an xmod wheel as the base wheel, you will need to drill your own hole into one rim. OK, here we go. 1) Pop the rim out of the wheel you want to be showing. (If you are using an xmod wheel, do not pop that rim out, do the other one.) 2) Spread a reasonable amount of superglue onto the top of the wheel with the rim still in. (If you are using an xmod wheel, spread the superglue on the xmod wheel.) NOTE: You do not put the super glue on the rim you just took the rim out of. (Yes there is superglue on this, you cant see it.) 3) CAREFULLY place the two wheels together, with the non-rim wheel on top. 4) Press together for a few seconds and leave to dry. 5) If you have an xmod wheel on the bottom, this step is easy. Place the wheel onto the xmod and use the wheel nut tool to tighten. If you aren't using an xmod wheel, then hopefully you already drilled a hole into the lower rim. Fit that on there as you can, and use the wheel nut tool to tighten. 6) Put the rim back into the upper wheel, and Voila! Duallies!

Ah, so no CA on the outside WHEEL so you can pull it out and screw the nut. Then you can put it back to complete the look!
Good tut... But you guys seriously need to learn how to take pictures... |
