Default - R32 GTS-t -

WIP, but 80% at this point:

Front downgraded from GTR, skirts trimmed 1/2 way, might omit the spoiler altogether, will add the front logo and rear Nissan & GTS-t writing, gloss a few coats after finishing details

paint looks thick and lumpy.
maybe do a little more sanding, and heat the spray cans before you use them
but overall, the conversion is coming along pretty well

Honestly wish it stayed like it way in top pics. A couple areas bubbled, I let it dry, cleaned it off, sanded what needed to be, repainted. The repaint came out a tad iffy so I sanded some more and sprayed it again. So far it looks good save orange peel texture that I will just work with a very fine sandpaper once its dry. After that it should be nice and smooth and I'll proceed with details.

or, you could sand the paint off going (grit size) 180, 220, 400, then wetsanding with 400. don't have to get it all off, but most of the thickness should be gone. and you may have to take a stylus to the body seams to re-etch them before you start sanding.

imean, it looks good, just it seems like you got runs and drips

Just about done before possibly trim touch-ups and a few layers of glosscoat.

Welcome back perhaps. Sadly, XMS is as far from actual RC racing as we all are from the moon, and with how rarely I even touch these things lately, I'm mostly looking for latest products/local events.

I'll probably post projects and whatnot as they, possibly arise.

No, this topic is in the Mini & Micro section of the forum which is used to post Mini-Z and Micro-T RC vehicles rather than XMODs, from the looks of it these are all a variety of the Mini-Z platform.
