I haven't had it up to full speed yet. The tires I had on prior to these kept blowing off the rims.(yes, I glued the new set of tires.)The Sidewinder is essentially a Mamba 25 with upgraded firmware and a couple extra features. I ordered the Castle Link to program the Sidewinder to better suit my needs.

Your image has been left as a link. When it's resized you can reinsert the [img] tags so it will show up again.

Cool looking 18.

No vids yet. I'm still getting used to the set up. I need to upgrade the servo, the stock one is just to "lazy" and makes the front end rather squirrelly.

I love the set up. I experienced the same as your friend, but after messing with the Punch Control setting via the Castle Link and messing with different springs and spring preloads it sticks pretty good.

Didn't take you long at all to bald those tires! Hell, just two months ago they were lookin' new!

Chassis looks nice. The whole setup looks nice. Envious for sure.

Donziikid- yeah tell me about it. That's the raw power of brushless...I'm giddy just thinking about it.

mytitan-I know what you mean. I went as far as I could on the Xmods. The Evo chassis is what killed it for me. As for the Vendetta or the RC18, I know replacement and upgrade parts are readily available for the RC18. I don't know that much about the Vendetta to make any real ,comment. I will tell you this, I'm really happy that I chose the RC18, I put it though a lot and it asked for more.

very cool, I just pulled mine out today, I've got an 18R, didn't go quite as crazy with all the alloy parts, but I am running an 11.1 V lipo and a brushless. It goes about 35-40 mph, maybe faster, I'm not really sure, it likes to go out of range before it maxes out.

But it quit on me today, not sure if it's the battery or ESC, I was just screwin around with it in the back alley and it quit. Hopefully I can figure it out I guess. Good luck with keeping that thing rubber side down

They're a decent tire for the money. I used them a few times in the dirt and they performed well. I do a lot of pavement driving and they held up well to the thrashing I gave them. As you can tell from the latest pic, they are well used. I'm gonna try the stock AE monster truck tires this weekend.(if my LHS got them in stock)

I recently added aluminum lower diff covers, Hot Racing aluminum rims, MIP super diffs, and AE monster truck tires.

Nice. How do you like the brushless setup. I'm gonna be dropping a Mamba into my Slash sometime soon and the only BL RC I own ATM is the Micro DT and that is a total overkill and a tranny killer lol. Please tell me you didn't use any Integy. Integy makes some of the worst aluminum and bends very easily.
