Li-poly Question
would you guys reccomend using this: http://www.heliguy.com/Electric-RC-H...ttery-800-mAh/ It's about 20 bucks. What about this one http://cgi.ebay.com/7-4V-2-Cell-Lipo...QQcmdZViewItem . Would it work good?

12c * 800mah..... 9.6 amps continous
20c * 700mah..... 14 amps continous... I would get the second one, slightly less run time, but it can supply more current.... Also, it has to fit in the space alotted on your car, as they can be too big. You must also have the correct charging items, or you can blow it (or you house) up. Be careful.

yes, I am using a 7.4v 10c 1200mah lipo in my truck and it screams!!! I use the $8 lipo charger that came with my esky r/c helicopter. The comment about fitting it under your body is correct. I am using a custom model truck body, so it fits fine. However, a stock xmod car body wouldn't really work.

doesn't it fit right where the battery tray is? A good Climbing setup is to have a model body with a big be raised off the chassis and a Lipo in the bed.
