Pro-Pulses Day Out
So there was a family get together today at one of PA's state park... as I'd just received the Pro-Pulse back from Zippo with its upgraded and finally working all metal drive system I figured I'd charge a few packs and take the Pro-Pulse to occupy myself with....
Initially I had it setup with slicks but the car parks where so busy I changed to the mid-grade off road tires (now I wish I'd taken full off road tread patterns as they would have rocked). I broke the Pro-Pulse in with some tarmac racing, some table jumping and a bit of rough terrain, then I switched over to the off roaders and hit this awesome set of steps that looks as though they had being designed for hill climbing... Heres a few shots of the day: This is the hill climb section.... As you can see I had a few spills but overall the truck is handling like a dream, I still have intermittent electronic issues where the truck goes totally dead but turning it on and off seems to solve the problem..... Enjoy

Yeah it was a good day out especially as I didn't have to spend much time with the inlaws....
It went up the hill pretty well, I could pretty much leap up the first 2 or 3 but then had to zigzag up the steps to make it, I got all the way up to where the brush is overgrown before I had to turn around and roll back down....

Looks like a lot of fun, B1G. What's the electronics setup?
Cheers, Kyle.

At the moment just stock Pro-Pulse ESC and receiver... hence my problem with their fake crappy hobby grade stuff.... I'm running the dual motor setup, the larger battery pack, CF drive shaft, steel diffs and gears....
The ESC is about to be replaced to match up to my new motor.... I'm still looking for something better for the receiver... ideally I'd go to 2.4GHz....

looks like that was a good time, i think alot of the electrical issue comes from the esc. i dont have any issues with my brushless setup, or 1/10 esc dual high torque motor. i run the propulse receivers in both. I'm thinking it's a result of a crappy esc that is dropping voltage sent to the receiver when you get it under a decent load. my opinion anyway
but the truck looks nice man, it should be even better once your new stuff comes in. just remember you will have to adjust your suspension once you get the new setup. i wish i had a set of stairs on a hill like that to climb, it would be a blast.
