Default new xmod , brakes dot seem to work

hi, yea i just picked up another xmod from radio shack since there only 25 bucks, its the 2010 mustang i tried it to see how it drives and its seem that this one is not braking really at all , if i pick it up to look at the wheels when i try it it seems to stop the tires when its in my hand, just not when its on the ground it just seems to coast ... what could be the problem ????

they probably work, but on the ground the car has more momentum, so it takes longer

also check you motor connections just to make sure they are tight, as the motor is what causes it to "brake"

all the screws a tight motor and all, and when i try to brake it pretty much like letting off the gas, so i just coasts but i can use reverse to try n brake but it dosnt work to well... lol it just makes the tires spin the oposite way and still dosnt come close to how all my other cars brake...

seems strange iv never had a problem like this, could it maybe be the remote?

probly something with the board. its basically you hit reverse one time, it brakes. hit it again and you got reverse. unless its making and braking with the remote. but then it would go into reverse instantly.

a little strange this problem
as a few others have said it is weird that reverse still works

as the "street" transmitters are notoriously problematic id say try cleaning the wiper board
or better still try an older transmitter with the correct crystal in
