Default Where to purchase: Motors

Howdy. This is a thread that will be updated for information about where to purchase motors, armatures and motor parts for your Xmods. There are many sellers to choose from, including some of our very own here on XMS. Please take a look around and see what site suits your needs the best; all sites included are very reputable websites that many have used in the past. If you have any questions about a certain seller check out the Vendor Feedback here on XMS. If you do not see the vendor you’re thinking of buying from start a new thread to see if anyone has done business with them in the past.

Motors:
Everyone loves to go shopping for speed. Well, there is no NOS for an Xmod, but there are some places where you can buy some new motors! AtomicMods is the place with the best selection for 130size motors. They even break it down easily so we can purchase their items faster, easier and friendlier! They even break it down in their description the amount of stacked FETs needed to use that motor; how convenient!

Not safe.

There’s also Maniac Motors. I haven’t done business with them, but I know a lot of the motor building gurus buy their parts from him and he’s a responsible guy.

Another crazy motor guru is PX (Performance Xmods). He is the creator of some of the fastest motors known to Xmods today. Most of his motors require a turbo or stacked FET upgrade.

Please, don’t forget to check out our very own here on XMS: RedSXmodder! He currently (as of 12/31/07) has a thread in the B/S/T section selling some of his very own, custom-pattern wound armatures! All you need to purchase is the motor can (which can be found by one of the vendors above).

Also, please check out the following threads on purchasing other items:
GPM Parts.

Further information on electronics, motors, PCBs and other electronics can be found in the Electronics Explanations thread here on XMS.

Regards,
Donziikid/Kyle.
