Nice choice on the stiletto. The black really makes the silver aluminum stand out! Congrats on getting that body, I wish I could have beaten ya to it, lol.

**** man, that car's come along way.
that's turning out to be an epic car
now all you have to do is paint what little bit of stock plastic you still have on the chassis
putting some flat black between the fins on the heatsink will add a bit of "pop" aswell

yea, if the servo casing was flat black that'd make a big difference in the chassis' appearance. i like your idea of accenting the heatsink black, i'd like to put as much detail into the chassis as you put into the body

I'd recommend the new bug 1.0 or spider v4 from ausmicro.com or XI instead of the v2.2, much more efficient, and can handle 11.1V PROVEN and work fine.
A lot smaller, and less hassle(cutting fet legs is not hard, you just slice the pins off one by one with an exacto and it's done!)

yah, i'm actually going to get the V4, it looks like a better investment...wheres a good place (besides atomic) to get a lipo and charger?

Looking badass. Just the rims dont exactly fit IMO. Those silver pieces of alloy looks awsome.

XI has a kit that you can wire on your own. But if dont want to do that, get BLT to wire one for you.

no point in going balls out with li-po, just get some ions and save yourself some trouble.
sure, li-po has a higher output but at this scale, it would be extremely hard to control.
look at my(B1G's) Black Widow.
i got that car up to crazy speeds on ions and it was **** near uncontrollable.

if you want to truly match the detail of the body to the chassis then send me the lower deck and servo housing and i'll paint them to match.

@sweed, SS is a mod so even if you delete it, he can read it

Ah, the old ion vs. poly arguement..let it begin.
Since he already has a stilletto, he might aswell get the ion pack.
If he didn't, I'd tell him to go lipo.
Bondo...your car was uncontrollable due to: no awd, and cars like these need superior throttling skills(low to high) so you don't gun it and expect it to hit it's top speed.
LiPo being uncontrollable...if he decides to go awd, lipo or ion shouldn't be a big deal.
If he gets around to sending me the motor back, I have to put more winds on depending what battery type he sues.
Not trying to down-talk your creation bondo, just throwing some suggestions out there as to why it was uncontrollable.
SS, what batteries will you be using? if you send me the motor I need to know that, and what gear ratio.
