i only need a few more gpm parts but bearings reduce friction so it should go faster right? i have li poly and a speedy 07 so do i need to go faster? whats your opinion? im thinking bearings though but i need peoples expertise.

I thought you were supposed to go bearings before anything else...
Do bearings. It'll go faster, accelerate faster, better battery life, longer run time.

I'd go with bearings. To be honest, I had a beater AWD Xmod evo with lithium batteries and an atomic standard motor and I never upgraded one part with aluminum. That thing never broke, except for the front clip. I even had huge wheels on it from a truck and would drive it when it was wet, in the dirt, in the grass, over ramps etc. It did have bearings though.

Yeah go bearings...... Don't get stuck on the speed. The most noticable speed upgrade of course will be motor and batteries. Bearings will of course add some speed becasue of less friction, but they offer more then just speed. Because of less friction your car will run smoother and gain some speed aswell as reduce wear and tear. You definatly should have bearings as a first priority for any upgrading for those reasons, and you waste your $ getting all that stuff and not having smooth bearings already in the car.

i guess its unanimous then, bearings it is. by the way for the guy who asked, im missing the rear shock mount, the rear green plastic parts(dunno what to call them), and the servo motor case which there is no gpm for. also, what are your guys thoughts about a cf driveshaft? just is really do anything or is the awd driveshaft fine?thanks!

well the AWD shaft is fine, but like the bearings.. the smoother light wieght CF shaft will run the car smoother and reduce wear and tear. Imagine that the motor has to turn the gears which will spin the driveshaft to send motion to the other end of the car. with a lighter smoother shaft it is less work for the motor and gears.

If your just missing those GPM parts, then bearings hands down. The GPM parts your missing don't do much really expect for show. Plus, bearings like said above by XXXmodder, reduce friction and wear and tear.
