Silver Bullet motor
Just got my new modified Silver bullet motor in my Challenger last night (Wow). Put it on the dyno 65KPH (40 MPH) top end and .75 sec./ 10 meters. Thats with Ly-Polys and a 11 tooth gear on the motor with stock idler grear. Tried it on the floor it still can spin the slicks pretty good so it has lots of torque left. I'll take it to the drag strip on Sat. to see what it dose. At the track I use glue on the tires for better grip. I might be able to go with a higher gear ratio.

Marvin at Teammnm racing was alot of help. Here is a link to the motor. I think that I might like to try the Silver core modfied motor in my other car, but I need to find somebody to stack the fets on the board or get a Nelly.

Dragbird, that's amazing!
I'm thinking about getting it. You showed us the speed checks on Tamiya's Speed Checker, and from my experience, that thing never lies (well, mostly) You've convinced me! What FET setup are you running? Or are you running an external FET (turbo)? I'm pretty good at soldering, but not parts that small. I'm thinking of a Woah Nelly external turbo, but do you know which one is their flagship, and if its capable of the Silver Bullet? Just so I have the best Woah Nelly turbo I can purchase at the time being, for one of my own flagship cars. |
