Default 1969 Cougar Eliminator

Well havent realy had a project in a long while so i decided to go with a little muscle this time around. I was looking around ebay for a new project and came across this couger and fell in love with it.

So far ive only mounted the rear of the car. I have to paint before i can mount the front because of the way the front end is set up. cant realy tell what it is right now but ill let the pics speak for them selves.

My plans for this car are to paint it yellow and of course muscle car rims.
But enough said, here are some pics.

New pics coming in about an hour.

Thanks for looking and all coments and suggestions welcome.

It's 300 miles away, he's trying to get a tow rig to bring it back, but a '69 with a 351, it's gonna be fun.

I'll definetly be following this project; like Texan, one of my bud's just picked up a '67 for his first car. This will certainly be a fun project to follow, just like my bud's 1:1 project.

Cheers,
Kyle.

thanks donz.

Well alittle update.

I got the paint on the body all done. I was kinda hoping that the yellow would be a little darker but the paint job came out perfect so im more than happy.

I don't think the color could have come out any better. I think it matches the car very well and shows the lines flawlessly. Good pick.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Turning out nice, I like the color. Are you doing any performance mods with it?

Well the chassis its on right now is just a junk chassis. Its the chassis i use to mount all my model body cars. I probly will get the electronics on it working again and put a stage 2 motor on it. I wouldent mind doing an all alloy chassis with liths.

But i got another board for it so ill be taking out the soldering gun.
