Default Strip chrome paint easy!

What you need.....

Engine degreaser (one that will make the engine shiny, it will give a glossy finish)

Parts you want to de-chrome

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, get you parts you want to de-chrome and a tin/jar/cup, something to put your parts in.

Next get your engine degreaser, i use a spray one that leaves the engine shiny.

Next, simply place your parts in you tin and spray then with the degreaser, do not pour a cup of degreaser and put your parts in as it may start to eat the plastic.

Xmods, Revell and Tamiya parts take 2 - 3 hours before you can scrub the chrome off.....AMT takes around 5 - 6 hours.

Use an old toothbrush to scrub of the chrome.

Heres some i did earlier...

Revell Engine parts.

Xmods Mustang rims.
