The rear wheels or the front wheels as in steering?

To answer both - the front will be by links and a servo, the rear has a worm gear that turns a spur gear with the shaft in it - quite simple imo.

Thanks Tex! I think i'll always be experimanting and testing out new stuff as long as I can afford to do my hobby

Here's a few updated pics of the motor and gear set-up which also increases the speed alot more - there's no problem with torque (I just hope the gears can handle it).

Now it's time to drop in the electronics and all the other stuff will follow inline.
More to come soon!

Holy crap. X, you should become an engineer. The axle designs are ingenious, how did you think of them? Looks great, I can't wait for the end result!

I get my aluminum at my local hardware store, it's like 1mm thick...for $2.50 or $5.00 for a little sheet of it.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

I haven't had much time to work on this one lately but i do have a few updated pics on it so far. The only thing left is to add the details, paint what needs to be painted, and then fasten what needs to be secured on it.

Here's the updated pics and a short vid. also:

Sorry for the dark vid - I'll get another vid as soon as it's completed.
Thanks for watching.
