December '08 "Open Class" COTM Voting Thread:

Howdy,

First, let me start off by saying that this thread took more than two hours and four pages in Microsoft Word, and I thank you for that. This is what makes Xmodsource, Xmodsource. Thank you for your cooperation, time and dedication towards this hobby and this forum. Without all of these entrants, this wouldn’t be the largest in Xmodsource History! Again, thank you, and I hope to see this many entrants in the future!

To my count, there are twenty-five entrants this month! That’s the most we’ve had this year, or any year, on Xmodsource. I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation towards those of you who participated and tried to participate. Good luck to you all! May the New Year bring you many new ideas and awesome creations for future Car of the Months!

Now, for the part everyone wants to hear about… the prizes!

For this COTM, the first place and second place winners will be receiving a prize. First place will receive a new in box GenIII Corvette Xmod. The box has been sitting on my desk for the past month and a half making me drool; now it finally gets to go to its proper home. The second place winner will be receiving an Xmods Touring AWD upgrade, Xmods Touring Suspension upgrade and the Xmods Command Logic Light kit; all new in box.

Prizes will be shipped to the winner once the finally tally is taken. Taking into account the cost of the prizes, voting will be watched very closely for cheating. Anyone caught cheating will be instanly voided and given infraction points/bans.

Okay this may sound conceited, but I voted for my self If not, Zippo would have had my vote, because I vote for performance and the cleanness of the chassis itself, and he took that prize. Good luck everyone.

My first COTM and I did not get to enter the body I wanted as it is STILL not here and that is going on 3 weeks now. Oh well, I may enter the next COTM with it. I voted for the Fairlady Z. Always loved those cars and the color fits it perfectly. But all the entries were great.

I would have to say my vote goes to TheB1GDude, because that is one badass paint job. TheB1GDude, did you fo it, or did you get somebody to do it, pm me or post here.

I'm feeling Lancer_Mans Hummer, but it doesnt look like it can go offroad at all, the articulation doesnt go far, because it looks like the tires are too big. But the paint job is badass too.

This one by far will be the hardest. I just hope I get atleast a couple votes, I dont care if I win, but I just want to get a couple votes though.
