well with irene sneaking up the coast our good friend Dr.Kustom i believe has been evacuated from his home in staten island NY, i haven't been able to talk to him through MSN lately and i believe this is the reason.

I'm close to there and the hurricane wasn't bad at all I didn't lose power I'm about 30 mins from staten island and I bet is ok I heard the evacuation was pointless

i looked at some of the pics from the storm, some places are about 1-2 ft under water and in seeing trees bent over so far the top is touching the ground. but they arnt de-rooted

heard storm has been downgraded...friends and family in RI are saying that waves are breaking 10 - 15 feet over the see wall...it a 10 -15 foot wall...lots of trees down...power out...and the dang state police were shutting down all the hurricane pahties at 5 last night...i miss a good pahty

hope everyone rides thru it safe and sound and as little damage as posssible...and i am sure phone lines and internets and such are all screwy back there right now

i gots no damage but im soooo ****ed cause last month my friend threw a wiffle ball bat in my tree and we couldnt get it out and the storm couldnt get it ither

I just got back home, everything is fine, no breaking windows or power cut down. Before the storm arrive, I went over to a family member's house to stay over.

The storm went away about 7am this morning. Sky is still pretty cloudy right now, but the rain had stopped, just very windy.
