Im not diggin those new propulse cars ....
I dont know it seems as though xmods are way more customizable then propulse. Plus if too many people start buying propulse R/C's, then it'll be the end of xmods. I say theyre nothing but bad for xmods. issed:

sorry greenwave22 i disagree i believe u can customize these things alot more 1. more bodies available i could be wrong but i dont think so 1/18 scale bodies at mcallisterracing.com,hpi,protoform 2. wider selection for the esc novak, tekin, duratrax and more 3. lots of different batterypacks and motors 4lots of different springs/shocks available.i could go on and on. what i like is theres hundreds of bodies available for these things and they are the clear lexan bodies im going to get me the 1/18 scale latemodel or sprintcar body for mine or one of each from mcallisterracing.com

beleive it or not. the propulse is better than the xmod by a TON. it actually has shock absorbers!!

I want to know if it has a normal radio system, or if it's all integrated..

it has a seperate receiver and esc. greenwave, there are all sorts of tuning upgrades that will be available, checkout propulse.com and they are a higher quality rc than xmods. There have been similar rcs like propulse, and they haven't changed xmods. its a totally different class.

the xmods are much better for getting into rc because of the low price and realtive quality, whereas the propulse are more hobby and race performance oriented, and much mor expensive.

Those Propulse things really **** me off. They stole from Team Associated's RC18B buggy that came out with WAY before these dumb little things. Associated has the whole line-up too: RC18T, RC18B, RC18MT, RC18R. I have no respect for companies that steal designs from other companies just to make money.

over $100 for a starter kit thing is too much for me. i like the nitro cars better too, they are faster. i think i'll wait for the price to go down

the propulse are just to much money. who would pay 150$ when you could pay 120$ on a mini-t that could go just as fast, if not faster.

I dont know really; 150 bucks for just the STARTER KIT !!
For a 150 bucks I can get an xmod starter kit and all the RS upgrades for it and still have 20 bucks left....

Your better off buying a Mini T or other electric RC's being that you can giet them a heck of alot faster than these. One question though, Is the motor, brushed or brushless?

Later,

Ok......Mini-T's are $100, not $120. And my E-maxx that I bought without batteries, charger, tools, anything was $320. Now that's expensive!!

and in the grand scheme of things, not that expensive....when I finish my r/c boat, I'll probably have about that into it, and I got the motor for free!

I'm not going to argue with you guys...this is a far better car than the xmods. (notice the period). maybe in 10 years or so, you kids will grow some hair, and see that the xmods aren't the best thing to ever hit the R/C world, just the best for the cost and size.

emaxx....how do you know it's ripped off? just cause it has some of the same features? or have you actually seen them. I highly doubt it's totally copying it, just similar size and features.

Only reason I got an Xmod was just so I don't have to run my e-maxx in the snow in the winter.

Ok, i'll prove that RS stole AE's design. Here's the propulse buggy:
