I noticed a small increase in speed, mostly top end. I installed the ten tooth pinion and probably would have been better off with a eight or nine tooth. Gonna make the switch. It is a small performance increase but for the money, it's a pretty good deal. Once I try a few different gear combos I will know how to dial my car in.

The stage 2 I have preferred more for AWD, if ya want something with more speed a aftermarket would be better like a 'woah nelly' or 'atomic' and so on

If you want speed, reduce the overall weight of your car.

and IMO, the stage 2 motor increase in speed, from what i've tried.

Another thing you could do is play with your gearing setup, a bigger spur gear would improve top speed but a smaller spur would increase torque.

Depends how much you paid for it...

If you paid less than $5 your golden. If not then online you could have ordered something more worthwhile for your car. Especially at the regular price of $20 you might as well go on ebay or XI and order a hand wound motor...
