My second project, :]

Well i'm feeling pretty 'sickly/sad'. So, I felt - other than my garage project - I should find something else to occupy me. Basically, I stole my boyfriends Skyline. LOL, he bought it before I had my subaru and he has never touched it.
Okay, thats enough for history/mydrama.

Excuse his sticker madness, I can only imagine where his mind was.

The little yellowish thing where the wing should be is his custom angled exhaust, lol. I'm debating if i want a wing or not. Also, i'm not too sure on the color. I was thinking around red or I don't know.
Heh, i'm just throwing this out there, we'll see how it goes. All suggestions are welcome!

Its not anything-crazy just yet lol. I'd say paint it red, then draw a nice graphic on a white sticker paper and apply it. If you just can't come up with paint, try using just stickers for some fancy deco. Let Prostreet be your testing grounds Don't forget that black body = easy sticker graphics' background to blend them in.

nice for some reason i liked the black skyline better then the yellow one, but if painted right i would love to own it. i say two tone it with a yellow bottom going up to the A pillar of the car and leave the top black and if you want maybe fill in the wing holes with bondo or some type of epoxy or bondo, or you can find the orange and black 350z wing and custom mount it on there.

i like it i dont know about you but i do. i plan on doing it like the picture if i can only get my hands on a skyline. but if you going to keep it simple and clean i would fill in the wing holes and smooth it out and paint it some awesome color(sunburnt orange) and make it a sleeper and just mod the inside like motor and things like that. and if do you have a pic of the back of the car by any chance?

Don't FILL the holes with anything permanent, Mo; just something you can pop back out and that can be colored. If anything, black putty that doesn't dry.

Stickers arent THAT bad! Seen worst. Keep it spoiler-less, IMO looks better. Make her nice and clean, no decals/stickers/graphics etc..., just a single color paintjob. Nothing fancy.

Anyways, looks nice now. Any more pictures of the chassis or the custom exhaust?

ok she is debating on if she wants a wing or not so if she does she don't have to put anything in it and if she doesnt she can leave it that way or put something on it. and she said she wanted to paint it and i dont think its going to be black cause that would be dumb to paint a car that is already black, black,and what if the color she would like to paint the car the dont have that putty color, and if she goes the way with the non drying putty or w/e, and wants to paint it, its not going to be flawless cause your going to see bumps were the putty is if not smooth and i she paints over it, the paint will become sticky/tacky to the touch cause of the moisture in the putty to keep it from drying out.

its her/BF car she'll (sp?) chose what to do.

I'll get some tomorrow. I actually never looked at the chassis - it's gen 1. I dont think i'm going to do much work with it though, i need to check it out.


I'm still concerned about color. If i could decide on one color i'd be fine. I could always go from there. I was also thinking about attempting a cf hood, lol, or just a black roof. This is all for my pleasure of course, haha.

red skylines are gross. keep it black or paint it blue, silver, white, champagne, or yellow.

Ohh i remember that it had front and tail lights on the chassis, but they were a bit wacky. I'm trying to get the chassis out without messing us the exhaust. :/

No. I like everything until you said flat black wheels in the back. Why would one have mis-matched colored wheels? Makes it look ricer, like you were too poor to get all 4 wheels the same or something.

Model, remember the Skyline in the first part of 2 Fast 2 Furious? A color like that would look killer on the car. Don't care for that movie, but that cars color was gorgeous.

Plain ol' red wouldn't work for a Skyline, don't think it would look right. Candy apple red would look SAWEET though.

why yellow? you don't paint a body to get a color that you can just buy stock. if she wanted yellow, she'd buy the yellow skyline body. i think red looks ok, but it can't be a random red.

I know this is a Honda S2000, but I believe a similar paint job would look slick on a Nissan Skyline (just omit the ugly graphics..). Just remember, everything looks pretty in pink.

but i agree that those graphics are horrible.
i think just pink or purple or blue or whatever would look nice as just a 1 color paintjob. maybe keep the hood and trunk black??
