I share with me all the time. Does that count? And why an evo 350Z?.....

....What he said. No really show me where I can get a NIB 350z body and a NIB evo chassis for cheap. I tried last year for my buddy at work and it cost him over $100 for an evo chassis starter kit (scion) and a 350Z body. I paid less than that. My wife tries hard to ignore all my toys. I usually play with them with my kids, they love them.

Thanks, I think you need new pants. And my son is always telling me that. 'Sharing is caring' Sounds like someone is watching too much care bears.

And now for something new that showed up recently. I thought about it for quite a while and finally thought 'What the hell, why not?'

It's pretty dirty and the cover doesn't go on properly so I need to move the board and clean it up quite a bit, but yes that is an alloy 2.4ghz truck.

Q & C welcome.

I bought it already converted and alloyed with the controller for less than it would cost to buy just the alloy. (Total cost of all alloy is around $220) Probably 1/3 the cost of buying everything and doing it myself.

I know many many things and I do love a good deal.

On a different topic - I have one truck that I custom mounted the body but it always bugged me that it sat so high. I saw someone do something on a project and it made me think. 'Hey I need a crappy Hummer bumper, or two.' Before I started asking around, I figured I could just make what I needed. And so I did.

I wanted the Hummer bumpers for the slot in them for the front clip, but instead I made my own.

And the result.

The second slot is for if I want to go off-roading it has a built-in lift, I just need to add to the rear mount.

NOW, it's finished. Thanks for looking. Q & C always welcome.

Thanks, I get a lot of my ideas form stuff I see and then I adapt it for my use.

Once I got it low, I knew I could get it lower. So I made my own front clip...

And the result...

Almost no gap at the front.

And a couple mm's in the rear.

I think it's finally finished.

Well, I had a chance to get another one recently and that made me think of my first and the fact that I haven't taken the time to upgrade it with all the goodies I have for it. Honestly, I think I have had the alloy for this car for over a year. It's as much black alloy as I could find at the time but it doesn't have 2 pieces that I thought I had but I can get those later to finish it off. Enjoy.

Q & C welcome.

Thanks a lot. The Ram Daytona is actually a Custom Rydz body (discontinued - I think) and I got it at 'The Source by Circuit City' (Canadian RS - sort of) for $2.

I got some bearings recently. Almost 200 for xmods and mini-z.

They allowed me to finish building a couple cars. They are both full alloy with bearings and carbon fiber drive shafts.

My black RSX. (I couldn't find all black, but one day I might.)

And my red Cobra. (Even the bearings are red.)

Q & C welcome.

Those are some beautiful cars right there. They are so nice and shiny. I love how the rsx looks so clean. Do you mind telling where you got those bearings? Was it a package deal?

Thanks guys. I was a bit worried about getting different colours of red and it looking really funny, but the only pieces that are different are the front arms so it's not even noticeable. Hiyoto, I'll be in touch.

I was talking with someone recently and it reminded me that I hadn't ever posted pics of my 3rd one of these. I have one of each colour - black, white and silver.

Q & C welcome.

Here's something that I finally got around to cracking open and taking for a spin. I just can't decide which rims although I think I'm partial to the 4-spoke as they remind me of old school 240z rims.

Q & C welcome.
