im not new.... but been gone along time

Hey guys, ive been gone for probably close to 2-3 years now

Thought id come back to check in, good to see some of your names again.


I still have my xmods, havent touched them since i pretty much left here, been riding my quad and mostly working.

But yesterday i stopped in my LHS and bought myself a losi micro rally car the brushless one. it was fun to drive around but then i charged the battery and it doesnt turn on or anything now.

take the rally back to the shop and see if they can figure out what's wrong. ive been hearing a lot of defects for the brushless ones lately.

thanks, boy its good to be in the RC world again.... i gotta get my xmods going again....

yep i will be taking it back as soon as i can, some time this week.

well so far on upgrade list is alum motor mount, and im gunna do the steering mod for tighter turning.

anything else u guys suggest??

lipos for more speed.. that's about it.

maybe a lower kv, higher geared motor, so it runs cooler

oh yeah i forgot to say ill be getting lipos..... i didn't think of motor like so..... its seems alot of people run 10000kv motors on youtube.

and they'll be burning em up pretty soon.

i have a 5300kv motor i used in my brushless sct conversion. i can get a 23t brass pinion and be running ice cold while going fast

i took it back to the shop and traded it for the sct because they didnt have another brushless car, i actually like the sct better i think

where did you get that motor?? i cant find one small enough in that kv

ok sweet thanks, and that motor fits in right?? and would i be able to run it with the stock ESC??

you need to drill another hole in the motor mount for it to fit. yes itll work with the stock esc.
