Default Spektrum

I just upgraded my RC18T to the Spektrum DX3.0 radio system, and in the short time of testing it my house I already notice a difference. Crisper throttle response, and more precise steering are the two main thing I notice. Further testing tomorrow should reveal more.

You will love it, I have a DX3R and DX2.0. They actually have a receiver much smaller than the one you have that would allow for much more room in this small of scale.

This receiver isn't much bigger then the Futaba R152JE that I had i there, but still a hair to big to fit between the servo and the motor. Oh well can't win 'em all.

I can't agree more; there is nothing that can compare to 2.4GHz when it comes to upgrades. If you can't control it, what's the point of having it? With the blistering speeds your RC18 must be capable of reaching I'm surprised this wasn't an earlier upgrade. Glad to see you made the upgrade.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Tell you what...after a full day of running the Spektrum, I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner. Now that the basics are set up...now the fun part of learning the other functions and sub menus.

Spektrum is awesome. I used to have a DX6, and it was just awesome.

So... What is the Pro-Pulse's FM Radio Reciever Combo compared to this?

Please don't take this as sarcasm, but AM and FM radios have nothing to compare to a 2.4GHz system. A couple of highlights would be that no crystal are needed, and that interference is a thing of the past now. Here's a link to the radio I have so you can see all of the features.
