You won't need to stack anything unless you go above 8 cells. Stock FETs can handle 8.4v at the max. I believe Gen1's are a little less... Later, RedSXmodder |

Here is a little chart to help you figure out how much power you little AAAs have
AAA alkaline batteries= 1.5 volts any AAA NI-Cd ir NI-MH=1.2 volts now use that to figure out how much power you are putting in your car example you put a 6 cell rechargable in you evo 6x1.2=7.2 volts but if you use alkaline batteries 6x1.5=9 volts I hope my little chart helps you out. |

well i ended up for now, putting a 2AAA holder (from rs) on my gen1 and my evo. i did the evo first, connected positive to positive and neg to neg, and i went to drive it, with all 6, it barely moved, but i thought it was the tire. turned it off, brought it in, and it started popping. the 2 i added to it, both of the AAA blew. but i unplugged it and everyuthing, and just ran the 4 (on the evo) everything still works luckily. i did my gen1, i did it in series, and works but didnt notice a huge power increase yet....

hmm.
wait, so you're saying you tried the 6C on your gen1 first? If so, the gen1's can't handle as much power as the evo's.

The way you described your setup, is kinda like having northbound and southbound highway traffic on the same lane of the freeway, it'll move for a second, but then everything stops and temperatures start to rise. |

You can and should stack them right on top of the existing fets. That is the whole purpose of "stacking" fets. The more fets you stack the more current you are able to flow. Fets have nothing to do with the amount of voltage.
