Psh, go watch smokey and the bandit, thats a whole movie of car chase. Bullit is good, but I dont think its car chase was creme de la creme.

You do realize that 89.99999% of ppl in car news just dont care about any "new editions" of the mustang? The other 10% are mildly enthused. The rest is ford boys... Its beggining to get like Baskin Robins with their many flavors. Just for makes you pay a few extra grand for red stripes.

OH yes, and watch for that white 67 firebird in the movie you see it alot.

And i wonder why one of the Argentine versions of the 67-72 Chevy C10's is in here, they were sold in south america,

These "new editions" of the Mustang are just old versions being re introduced on the new one. Ford had the Shelby's, Mach 1, Boss 302, C/S etc. back in the 60's.

Bullitt and the Smokey and the Bandit chase are good, but my favorite is the Gone in 60 Seconds chase (1974 version). It's a 45 minute long chase with Eleanor, a 1973 Mach 1. (Some reports claim it was a '71 made to look like a '73)

Now think if they had the car from the new one in the old movie... now that would be awesome!?!?!?

The movie sucks as a movie but the car chases are amazing plus they are all real, no hollywood stunts. That guy that wrecked at the end actually died later on due to complications from that wreck.

Thats what im talking about, the chase... its a thread about chases, common sense.

Though short, Christine had a few good ones. Where else are you going to see a 58(?) Plymouth Fury blazing on the road ways? And running it over witha bulldozer..

I need to find this on dvd....

I like christine and the original gone in sixty seconds. but Christine you don't mess with her or you will die a horrible death after torture. that's one jealous car I think I would be nice to it and help wax her paint not to tick her off.
