Default Clear headlight lenses

Does anyone have a way to make your headlight lenses clear again? My brother has an Evo VIII and his headlight lense popped out, he tried to glue it back in with some modelers glue but some got onto his finger and stuck onto the lense. So the lense is all foggy now. Him being 8 tried to use a razor to scrape the dried glue off but it only made the lenses slightly clearer but left some marks. Any tips guys on making it clear?

Sand it off with fine grit sandpaper, then clear coat it. (Dr. Kustom 2010)

So your brother used superglue? Next time, tell him to use tacky glue.

No he used the modeler kind that you use to glue the model parts together, it is pretty tacky and smells like lemons, (no im not even kidding)

never use that kind of glue on clear parts like the headlights. just the vapors will fog it up. you have to use the clear-parts type of glue:

oh, ok thanks for the heads up, he used the Testors Modeler plastic cement for it. I also notice that it tends to melt some of the plastic together

This stuff works really well, I've used it before very good for clear items.

yeah, you need testors clear-parts cement. the regular plastic cement is essentially superglue

I use Turle Wax Car Headlight Restoration for my 3000GT, that might work. It comes with different size grit things to scrub stuff off plus the cream things. Lol.
