pull open the top of the chassis electronics and tell us if it looks normal especially check the three green with three stripes resistors for damage.

It looks like a green pill with metal coming out both ends. you have to pull the cover off your electronics first to see them.

High-Res EP shot:

I believe xmodsnut is talking about resistor on L2.

If steering and throttle are cut out, it could be something as simple as a power wire disconnecting. An Xmods stage two motor is NOT going to cuase any significant damage to your FETs. Unless you have removed winds, or causes some uber strain on that motor/drivetrain when you used it. Or, you could have even shorted out your range. Never change a motor/do anything with batteries in the tray!

Compare your EP, to the EP in that image. (Stock EP from my Mustang.)

Ummmmmmm...why are there no wires hooked up to the board where the motor connects? Hopefully you took them off for the pic right? If so, get a cheap voltmeter and see if there is power at the battery connections of the board...or better yet touch the wires from the motor to the battery connections on the board and see if it spins. The fact that you said it will not go or steer makes it sound like you have no power to the ep.

That'd make the most sense, wouldn't it?

Yes, I took the motor wires off for this picture. Makes it clearer, if they're on you can't see the numbers (placement codes) for the transistors/resistors/FETs because the motor pads/wires are in the way.

So hook your motor to the board and see what happens...And I have seen way too many things on here that make no sense so i had to ask. And I was talking about trashmans pic...my inferior typing skills delayed my response.

There are a lot of "very rights" and there are a lot of "browns." What "very right" and what "brown" are you reffereing to? There are placement numbers, look at yours, and see what number(s) you're looking at/for. I'll get the answer ASAP.

That is a red stripe.

(From left, to right for L3: Gold, Blue, Red.)
