Well I got her running just now. Using a stage 2 motor as a temp, lowest gearing. Seems good, but the steering is awful, the car can't steer right to save itself.

FETs fried, god****. It was working properly, but I was getting some drivetrain issues and she just went up in smoke. Both reverse and forward are gone, looking molten. The board still works though.. I'm suprised as its the newer 3010 FETs.

order 4 8962 fets for a 2x2 stack. any upgrade is better than 3010's

Nice... Looking foward to the finished product.

I'm trying to get my Hummer finished, but I have a bad coat on the body. I painted it white, but somehow some paint got under the tape, and let's just say it caused some trouble... It's like I gotta use the thinner AGAIN to dissolve ALL the paint and do it over AGAIN, and for some reason, I'm starting to caps things again... Weird, huh?

I still need to put in the servo that I haven't gotten yet, I need to get some super swampers, and I need a new coat of paint. Any advice for this project in construction, go on and reply.

P.S. I'm not the best painter...

**** man, already fried FETs? I will resolder em for free, take a drive over here if you want and drop off the board. I love the project, its dead sexy.

Consider making a CF lower plate, or using the stencil lower plate.

I'm going to try to solder them myself, never tried before, and its the only thing besides winding a motor that I didn't try to do. It has a stong CF lower plate, that piece of lexan is sitting on top of it. It has a low COG.
The FETS are on order Its going to be a 2x2 stack, if all goes well. The FETs fried because of the driveline problems you get with the GPM rear cradle. I've ordered some delrin gears made for this purpose so it won't happen again.
