Default Traxxas Discussion Thread

Not sure where to put it since its for both, Donziikid, you decide. Anyways this is a discussion thread for Traxxas only. If you do not own one or have bad things to say, don't talk. (Well if you have questions and are thinking of buying one, different story.) This thread should not be turned into a flaming thread or else I'll have someone close it. Anyways, talk about Traxxas here(Stangracer do not start ranting on about HPI in this thread please! ) So what do you own? Nitro or electric? Boat, car, truck? Here's a nice video of mine, make sure to blast up your speakers! It is a 2007 Traxxas Nitro Stampede. It is really fast, easy, and fun like the box says. And with dual rear exhaust, it is pretty dang loud.

have you rebuilt the motor in yours yet (if its a pro .15 and it still runs as is from factory good job keeping it running)

Nice Jato's! Yes blue504life, the motor is still how it came from the factory...except for a few scratches on the cooling head. Runs fine, my friend even got one too.

if you do that you will not regret it the .15 is a very slow motor compared to the 3.3 but it runs great

Hey clintr79, is the blue Jato 3.3 your new one? xmodificationer, the .15 is not that slow, it still is pretty darned fast..until you compare it to a 3.3. The .15 is a great engine and I have yet to have any problems with it.

Have you ever owned hobby grade RC's? They are not as easy as XMODS to work on(ok sometimes they are). They are tons of fun, but require maintenance especially the nitros. But nitro is not as hard to maintain as most people say it is. Now excuse me while I go downstairs to change my Spur gear.

haha funny spur gear yeah about the weakest part on those things and it seems that you can never get the tightness just right so that it will slip just purfect with out loosing power you know?I think ive went through about 15 of them my self add that up at $8 a pop....

well heres mine it was a 2.5 but now its has a picco .21 (<fast as ****)ive went through 2 hot bodies pipes and and bout 3 bodys it has integy shocks and socs for then full aliminum skida and the proline wheels tires and hubesplus the motor saver air cleaner and a 3.3 wheelie bar but it isant pictured it wasnt on then. i have a little over 2 grand invested it sure was worth it! TRAXXAS ROCKS

W00T! Nice T-Maxx! I plan on getting a TRX 2.5R next only because it is free through the lifetime engine plan. That Maxx' is a work of art. Just finished, it was a P.I.T.A. Had to remove the entire rear to get to the spur.
