Default Super-glue residue problem

Hey everyone. I used some super-glue to connect something to my STi and now the area around the glue is white. Any ideas on how to get it off, and what to do to prevent this from happening in the future. All help is appreciated. Thanks.

i have found a little...... LITTLE wd40 on a rag does the trick
and i use ca glue on all my model conversions. and this happens when you get too much glue on it and it runs. which is why its good to use as little as possible. and try and attach everything before painting. or attach to an unseen place.

Ok thanks for the wd40 tip. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
