Default wiring woes

So I picked up a 65 mustang the other day. I noticed first thing that one wire had come off the main board. I soldered it back on hooked everything back together and the steering wouldn't work. Pulled it all back down and the three wires for the steering on the main board had broke off and two on the other end. Oh the funs of second hand stuff.... Bad part is I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to fix it.

I hate those wires on the Gen 1 chassis, they're always breaking off.
I ended up ditching the stock PCB and servo in mine for Losi micro-T electronics.
I still have the stock PCB complete with 2x2 mosfets. One of these days I'm going to try and salvage the mosfets if I can for one of my spare miniZ boards.

I usually replace the wires with better ones as they break. Xmods always used cheap wires.
