Project: Service truck
PHOTOBUCKET'S BEING *** AND WONT LET ME RESIZE! PLEASE HELP MODS!
Hey fellas(and m0del) TheX comin' at you with a pretty wild and crazy project. I personally think this might be the coolest Xtruck project going on right now, but thats just me. A long time ago (in a galaxy far far away ) I bought the 1999 Chevy Silverado street truck model from walmart. This is what the model is Seeing as if you built the truck like tho one on the cover you'd be a homosexual, I went the completely different direction. I lifted it and threw on a roll bar and a winch. Well, that chassis was so long and it took about 20 minutes to complete a 180 degree turn. I didnt much like the truck anyways, so I just put it aside. Well the other day I was leaning against my dads service truck and I thought, "man I'd love to have a service truck Xmod but all I have is old trucks!" Then it hit me: the old chevy was still sittin' in the basement collecting dust. I really liked the body style of this truck so I went for it. I just did not like the fact it was a crew cab. I hated it so much. So, everyone knows I just cannot leave something un-psycholy-modded, so I did something I didn't think I could do: mod a model body. So I took out the ol' dremel and chopped off the "crew" part. Heres some Before, after and Very after pics. Before & in paint. Whats left of the crew cab. Gaping hole. After. And heres the truck Im attempting to recreate More pics incredibly soon. Thanks for lookin, TheXmodifyer

Thanks! And No, I want to keep this truck "original". You get it? Like as close to the real thing as possible. So I will have the stock height on this one.

I started yesterday. All I did was paint the cab and trim it. The cabs already painted. And i am very, very, very, far away from that. The bed needs perfected, put together, finished, mounted, connected to the cab, detailed, sanded and painted. I need to build bumpers, get accessories, and do touch ups. Everythings just sitting there right now. Nothings mounted. The lights need done, the secret parts needs finished, and alot more stuff needs done. Im very far from finished.
