Maybe 04-05, not sure. But yes, that rare. Sadly, again like the Envoy XUV, the idea didn't launch like it could've. No flaws in the system, but (like it should be) it was actually bought by truckers who are going to use the **** truck.

Both ways (check out the old Caprice wagons), and the roof slides open.

EDIT: Bonus points for who ever can guess what is wrong with my car in this video

Why is it every time someone mentions Japanese cars that the Tundra is brought up? I'm pretty **** sure that recalls and other problems aren't exclusive to Toyota. Here's something I thought was interesting, found with a very quick search.

Link 2006

EDIT: Link 2007

Toyota prefers to cover things under a service bulleton (ex, Q3 in that document), not a recall. That's how they have fixed all the Tundra issues with out putting out a recall (thus, somewhat avoiding the problem. Toyota owners don't like it either)

I'm pretty sure Nissan does something similar. My parents have a Sentra, and the only way they found out about a recall on it was when they searched online.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying one car company is better than another, just that they all have had their problems and it's unfair to point to a specific one. Unless you're talking about a Pinto, because they were a little on the extreme side .

EDIT: Reading on Wikipedia about the Pinto which was also known as "the barbecue that seats four".

Lol, did they ever recall the Pinto? I guess with a reputation like that.. A recall won't do you much good.

Not for the past 2 years, they've been seriously slipping in their reliability. That, and they haven't made anything exciting for years. I think the old MR2 was the last. Just point-A-to-B appliances and the wanna-be Tundra. Tacoma is growing up too large to be the A-team mini-truck it used to be.

We need mo' mini-trucks.

^ Thats a Toyota I like

^ Not this every-day crap sold now

Oh don't get me wrong, the IS-F is a fantastic car from LEXUS.
http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10669

While it's a great 1st time for Lexus to really step in with the performance luxury sedans, it's not a Toyota-branded car.

I'm talking about something affordable, fast, and fun. Not a single car from Toyota currently is like that. There were talks last year of an AE86-formula for a new car (light, small, RWD), but I haven't seen any news about it in months.

Just as much as Cadillac is like a Chevy. Lexus is owned by Toyota Motor Company, yes, but nothing is shared between Lexus and Toyota in the US. Walk into a Toyota dealership, and find me an exciting car.

You'll be walking to the Lexus dealership in your quest for Toy-Mo-Co fun.

Tadaa...

Toyota Camry SE

A sporty car that trumps to 60 in 6.1 seconds.
Yet it's still another family car... So forget about that...
