Default Lipos and snow question

Hey guys I was wondering what I should do so I can run my 1/16 e-revo in the snow with a lipo. Nothing like shooting it down a huge hill in to slush or ice water. Just in the snow and the occasional slush drifting lol.

What do I have to do so it stays safe in the snow.

Thanks for any help.

DUCT TAPE!! thats all i can say, wrap duct tape around the battery? and your good for some snow driving like you said, or maybe use some velcro and velcro the body to the side of the chassis, then just put the battery in like a Zip-Lock Freeze bag.

Consider Plasti-Dip.
Old school ballon method.
Covering it in wax.
Plastic bag method.
Buy waterproof stuff.

Actually the Traxxas VXL 1/16 chassis is waterproof, so no need to do anything. If your nervous about the batteries, just wrap them in plastic wrap, and the plugs as well..... read this link..........
http://www.traxxas.com/products/elec...tro/intro7.htm

I wouldn't wrap with DUCT tape..for 1. It will make the batteries thicker and might be a tight fit..2. All that sticking duct tape residue...arrrgh, I wouldn't do it.

Shove it down a c*ndom if you happen to have one, don't stretch it out though. Navy Seals uses them to waterproof iPods.

Water is not a conductor anyhow. You could drop your lithium cells into a tank of water and it would not discharge. Salt water though is a different story. I break electric motors in all the time in tap water. It wouldn't work very well if it were arcing.

Trojan Magnums are like $16 for a 36 pack at target.

How did we get from RC Cars to condom prices?

I have heard the condoms and the silico beads or something to suck out the moisture.

The snow will prolly cause it from the dirt and stuff.

Could that harm them at all if I don't warm them.
