Doesn't look like you sanded the roof and trunk well enough. Keep on sanding er.

1. your paint is going fish-eye. means you didn't sand/prep the body right.
2. you're spraying unevenly
3. none of the above matters anymore because you'll have to sand all the paint off and start over. that's why you should take the time to prep. the more time you put into prepping for paint, the easier it is to paint and the less imperfections in the paint there are.

yea, i was about to say it doesn't look like you sanded the body and put it in primer before you sprayed your paint on.

Tamiya primer are pretty good.

First, sand down the body with 400 grit sandpapers, to get rid of the shine, then apply a coat or two of primer. Once primer are dry, wet sand it with 1500-2000 grit sandpapers, so that the body is nice and smooth. Then you can spray on the body color, do two mist coats then for the 3rd coat, do a cover coat, after that, add 1-2 cover coats if you think it need to. Once the paint is dry and you are happy with it, then do another wet sand starting with 1500 grit sandpaper then 2000 grit, to get everything smooth, also can help remove the orange peel. Last you can spray on the clear coat.

and just recklessly painting this one isn't gonna make it any better. you gotta sand it smooth. i'm serious. fish-eye doesn't go away by painting over it. it has to be sanded.

why not get this body right instead of going out and buying another body, only to go in with next to no painting experience? sand, primer, and paint. see how you did this time, then the next time, try to fix the errors you made this time. it's the only way to get good at painting.

Aye, three important rules to painting; Sand, primer, and plenty of patience.

not trying to sound mean or directing this to any one in particular, but if you stick around the forum long enough you will see some projects that have worse paint job on them. over the couple of years ive been on here ive seen better paint jobs, much better paint jobs, and much, much worse. practice is the key. well they say practice makes perfect, but it should be perfect practice makes perfect. if you practice the wrong way, your still going to get the wrong results. if you practice the right way, sand, prep, paint, and follow all the steps you will see you paint jobs come around to where you want them.

time the soak. don't let it sit in brake fluid longer than 30 minutes. if it sits for longer, you run the risk of disintegrating your bodyshell as the brake fluid softens the plastic after eating through the paint

for getting paint off to to autozone and get some "super clean" its a heavy duty cleaner, soak it in that for a few hours and just whip the paint off, and im pretty sure its plastic safe

I soaked mine in fingernail polish remover... BAD IDEA!! Not only did it weaken the body plastic, but really gave me a lot more work than I was expecting when it came to sanding and prepping..
