Looks great Chris but what's with the giant set screw? Get a normal sized on on there!! I'm going to guess its got 32P gears? Or 48? I've been stuck in the Mod1 world too long But uh, eww, get that HR junk off there and stick on some GH, FFRC(I'm not sure if they do SC10 yet though) or more STRC stuff!

meh, the HR one is supposed to be the best alloy one out there, other than the strc one, lol

the set screw was stripped, and my lhs didnt have any screws that fit, and i dont have any either, but the whole system is all temporary, im waiting for my lhs to get the castle sct system

its 48p gears... ill stay 48p for now

I'm not sure where your source for that info is from. I've found HR aluminum has a bunch of slop in the design, especially, when I had it, the MERV knuckles. Went back to stock because of them(kinda got them in an impulse buy, never actually broke the stock knuckles) and their Micro T parts were less than up to par. Same with their Slash parts. I'll prefer sticking to FFRC and GH What size is the set screw,(meaning what driver, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5mm? The MMM used a big azz 2.5mm ) but I've got a bunch of ones laying around. I'll msg you if I find any lol. (you've seen how my workspace looks!)

thanks

big update(well, more like 3 small updates within the past 2 weeks, quoted from URC)

that's all that's left of the bearing(at least what i found)
i also lost the cvd pin.. when the bearing "exploded" it pushed the pin cover off, an the pin just slipped right out..... =/ and i never found it

a 1.5mm hex broke on me(well the non-metric version of it, cant remeber the exact # but i think its 3/16th?)
the battle scar(it was bleeding a lot more, but i cleaned it, cause it was starting to drip down my finger D: )

never done a speed run with it, but its probably around 40ish mph, average for the the decently modified 10th scale

small update.. well, no update, but me and a friend went bashing today, no pix of the actual bashing, but there was some water flowing down the street because someone was washing their car, and we took some poser shots(sorry for the crappy quality, we used my phone camera, and the sun was in a bad spot, but i tried to get it in the pic for that sunset effect)
u know my car, he was driving his slash 4x4, he got the body today before he came, and i painted/cut it for him(he scared to paint his own bodies, the first one he did cracked..)

__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _______
one more, thing, can u tell me which pic looks better? the one above or this one?

first one is photobucket, the one above is flickr

the color of his car is mettalic greyish blue, and is topped(or bottomed, since its a lexan body ) with straight up glossy back to fill in small imperfections, and to make it darker

what broke u say?
my car:
Seized/rusted bearing thanks to bashing in dirt then accidentally going through that puddle of water

his car
battery strap hold down(the part where the body clip goes)
rear knuckle busted(he had parts to fix both of em)

ill get higher quality pix of my car later, he left already =/
