Okay guys, this looks like the final update, and I want to put this is COTM December.

Updates:
Rear Ceramic Bearings
Front Delrin Bearings
New Rims
New Tire: Tire Style B 15 degree Atomicmods
Fine Tuned all of it
Looking to beat my MR-02
Aluminum Tie-Rod Protector

This thing runs like an MR-02 now. The balance is near perfect and currently is ready to compete at the local track. It needs a lot more work if its going to go up against Mini-Zs in the modified division.

XMDrifter, I made it a lot more rear bias, and have been practicing just the set-up in my basement.

The throttle control is excellent, and I will post a video of the servo accuracy.

Maybe some last ideas/questions:
Would a mini-z servo motor be better than the xmod stock one?
Will the Mini-Z servo motor mesh correctly with xmods gears?

And I may put an HS-55 in there too, to make it totally accurate. Plus HS-55 is the same color scheme as my chassis, so it'll perform and look better too.

My COTM pictures before I enter them. I may use these pictures, or take some in the natural lighting. In person it looks like it is a real Mercedes pace car.

Some of the tires pointing in the wrong direction Probably going to fix that right now.

Enjoy the update

The (Maybe) Final Pictures:

Pic with slightly raised front, I am testing out how it affects suspension. ^

And the drawing I did during Spanish class for COTM:

One of my favorite pictures, I took it as a practice shot :

I was going to paint all of the rear cradle black, but I realized the little green here and there, was really nice looking, so I didn't. The good thing is there is no little paint blotches on the green, so it looks factory 2 tone.

The windshield wipers hot glue that prevents it from flailing around came undone so I have to fix that, and the GPM Dampers havent came yet. I am probably going to sand the dampers, paint em silver, and then put a little grease on them.

If the weather isn't freezing, I may get some outdoor pics, but don't count on it, these pictures came out good.

Thanks everyone for following the project!!
What I thought was going to be a touch up, became a project in itself.
I have achieved my goal for the most part, and want to thank all XMS members for looking. Thanks guys.

Yeah its a mini-z body so its meant to be a replica. Those teeth are supposed to stimulate good aerodynamics, don't ask me

Looks good,
but If I were you, i wouldn't use all these gpm parts on a track car.
Personally i would just upgrade :
F&R Knuckles
Tie-rod
tie-rod cover
F&R Dogbones
F&R Axles

But thats just me. I have too admit though, this chassis does look good with all these shiny parts!

I'm all over it I have aluminum front knuckles, and I just got dogbones in today. SO far I can beat my MR-02 on my track in the basement.

Yeah my favorite part are the tires and rims. I think they are 2mm, but I am not sure, I'll measure as soon as I'm done with my homework.

Thanks for the feedback, as I am leaving Monday the 22nd at like 5 in the morning and right now I have a project to do for Math so this may be the last update guys. It is going in COTM, hope you vote for me. I'm going to install rear aluminum dog bones today, and those were the last pictures as it is miserable weather outside. Thanks again,

Looking good. Is that the one that you wanted to make 100% metal gpm? And by the way I'm liking the mini-z board

Okay did a little modification before I sell it.

I made a custom board holder thing out of an old Switchblade chassis side brace. Bent it, cut it, painted it, drilled a hole with the hand drill. It was easy and clean.

I touched up all of the black paint.

I also took the motor out of Drag GT-R and put it in this car, because it has amazing torque, and like stage 2 speed, which is ideal for track racing.

I need an estimate on how much I should sell it for. Not including body or tires.

Heres the pictures:

and the crappy picture that shows it a little bit better (irony):

The bar really keeps things in place, and looks awesome too.

The motor ( i have trouble being up this close and taking pictures):

I'm going to sell this car, as I have removed all the things that were needed for custom mounting the body. It is going to be chassis only, no tires either.

Parts list:

Acme Xmods Stencil Chassis
BXModders Custom Lithium Kit
Speedy 07 Motor
Upgrade 3010 FETs, originally 3004
Mini-Z PCB/Board Custom Installed
Front Suspension Blue(hard), rear suspension (soft)
Delrin motor gears
GPM Front and Rear lowering arms
GPM Heatsink
GPM front axle stubs
GPM Front Knuckles
GPM Skid Plate
GPM Bottom Arms Front and Rear
GPM Evo Clip holder
GPM Gear Cover
Hot Racing Rear Dogbones
Atomicmods Xmods Rims 5 Spoke Black
Atomicmods B Grip 15 degree radials
Fine tuned steering, eliminated jitter on Mini-Z board by increasing resistance
Black painted chassis
Front delrin bearings
Rear Ceramic Bearings
Hand wound motor

gimme your estimates

Okay here is the Math:

Generally speaking there is about $100 worth of GPM, and some Hotracing dogbones.

Then a 17 dollar lithium kit.
Then a 20 Dollar chassis.
10 Dollar Rims

Mini-Z Board (w. upgraded FETs) is like 50 dollars.
Lets say a 30 dollar motor.

Plus all installations, tuning, balancing, painting, and motor winding.

So a minimum of 230 dollars, without charging for all that hard work I did.

I just don't know what to charge for all that services. Maybe I'll just do like $279 or something..

Besides that,
Who likes the board locking idea, the motor, and the painted chassis?
