IMO, the micro-t desert truck looks awesome, but i just picked up an RC magazine that had a test run of the Losi 1/10 Desert Truck and it looks awesome, i would probably go with the larger scale desert truck since i already have a 1/10 electric truck and i have more fun with it than any of my other r/cs, i have a t-maxx as well, but it's a lot more complicated and time/money consuming to run.

reading up on the Losi Desert Truck though, its supposed to be a really tough truck and it stays flat through jumps which is always a good thing. and whats even better, the ready-to-run kit comes with a 2.4 Ghz tx/rx system. Price wise, you're looking at around $250, but it would be well worth the money

i like losi's 1/18 products, they're big enough to have fun outside and small enough to play with inside. the aftermarket parts are very cheap and the results you get from the upgrades are very noticable. on top of that, the 1/18 are amazingly easy to work on and the general aftermarket is vast. i recommend the Losi Mini LST (about $180) the Losi Mini Baja (around $160) and the Losi Mini T (around $99) There are other variations of the Mini LST such as the Mini Monster Baja, Rammunition Truck, and the Ramminator Truck...the Mini Baja and Mini T are the exact same chassis, the only differences are that the Mini Baja come with metal bearings (MiniT comes with plastic bushings), a better ESC package, all the batteries including the charger and 7.2V pack and an extra set of paddle wheel tires. The Mini Baja is all around the best investment in my opinion.
