Default Offroad/Crawling mini park

Soo the last couple days ive been taking my Titan out back in the woods behind my house and i made a small off road trail. Its very hard because i don't have any mod except for the homemade lift kit for the body! probably going to buy 4 wheel drive and lock the diff. but i was thinking. since i have to pack the dirt down REALLY hard, to be able for the truck to drive on it, why don't i just by a couple of bags of Quick Crete and make a crawling path. right in my backyard! it will have sticks and different obsticals built into it, but it will also have different sections to accommodate mudding, crawling, and trail riding. Probably going to start on Sunday cause i have a BIG VEX robotics competition on sat. all day. but ill keep yall posted with pictures!!

You have to realize something you will need torque to do so, torque is the basis for rc crawlers not exactly articulation because if you look at my 1/24 Silverado build, it doesn't have much articulation but still performs fine. The 3 basic things for crawling that are absolute needs, torque, 4WD, and good tires, otherwise you'll be picking it up every 5 seconds to move it from being stuck

try addin a set of lithiums, it will greatly increase speed and torque, that will help with the big hills

And just to add to that, the three MUST HAVES of crawling are 4X4, locked diffs and a proportional throttle, however the three essentials to rock crawling are torque, weight (C.O.G.), and traction. If you dont have the first 3 then its not really a crawler, and the second three are what you need for a successful one, but the second three arent really needed they just help. BTW isnt concrete going to give your crawling couse like 200% traction compared to like real rocks or dirt? Well any how i look forward to the final product

Instead of using quickrete, why don't you just get a couple of bags of driveway white rock gravel? That way, you have different sizes of rocks and you can change the course if you get bored with it. The rocks will also add to the realism of the terrain change (rock slippage, moisture build-up). Good luck with the project.
