Default toy to hobby grade

i was thinking about putting some miniz electronics in one of there toy rc 4wd drifters and modding it i want to know if its at all worth trying or its a waste of time and money. i alredy have micro t and mini z electronics on hand and i want to know what to use.

You could.... don't know how worth it, it would actually be though.... what size / turn motor does the 1/24 car take as you'll want to make sure it's not too hot for the electronics... I'd probably just put a hobby grade brushless kit into and run lipos, be way more fun....

i already have mini z and micro t boards and i think its 130 or a 180

also the body comes off and the chassis looks like a gen 1 or a mr015
