That would mess it up very very badly...From him doing that he most likely hydrolocked the engine.

He lost control then his wheel went into mud. Even if you slammed the breaks you would slide.

That's true I think it was on top gear that said it cost VW almost 5 million to make each car and then they are sold at 1.7 that is a signifigant loss. Even though he crashed it I think he should just strip the car down and sell it for parts. Heck I would buy the hood off the veyron that crashed in Texas

Which is why its so stupid he wrecked it, I suppose. It is a feat of engineering, and I do applaude that. Course if VW were to stop Veyron production/sales for several months than they CERTAINLY would make more money than Toyota. Their production capacity already exceeds Toyota, so profits are the next thing they need to take out Toyota.

From what I understand, Veyron's aren't mass produced, their custom ordered.
So, its not like they make a lot of them, and then can't sell them.
