Default Project RSX

here is a little somthing i picked up a couple of days ago, i bought it fom a person that aperantly did not know what he was doing, he painted it (so called)and now it looks like somthing the cat draged in,and now i am just starting a complete makover, here is what it looks like now











here are some pics of it with most of that horrid paint gone







and now it is almost done



now all i have to do is put on some rims,and the painted mirrors and a couple more decals on the back window.......as you can see i left the eibach springs sticker on the side,i thought it looked well placed so...i left it.









project all done

so i am curious as to what you used to take off all the marker and grime...yet it left the stock paint pretty close to perfect...

i have a couple of bodies that could use some sticker adhesive removal and they would be good as new...yet alcohol seems to fade out the paint...and goo gone take the factory paint off...

I've had luck with a rag damp with super clean, they sell it at auto zone in a purple jug

I just used a razor blade to scrape the old paint off,u just have to be very light with it.

well that came out pretty dang good then...paint seems to be blended nicely...nice to see a beater body get saved
