The simplest, and most obvious, would be a piece of metal.

You know it may get hot down there and melt your wing or something ? Just a thought, might or might not happen. Or make a metal wing ?

And pics would be excellent... Otherwise I "have" a 1/16 E-Revo and 1/16 Slash...

Woah, way too large of images to be within [IMG] tags. If you already know they're too large please do not post them within [IMG] tags. Saves us a lot of time from having to edit them out.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Is it waterproof? Man I want a VXL system for my Slash! Can it take the extra voltage of two batteries? Now I've taken a good look at all the suspension system, and correct me if I'm wrong, but the triangles pivot on the end with the flathead screw, and the A-arms push on one end, then the shocks occupy the last side? It looks like it'd be easier to set up a sway bar for that type of system. Nice truck! I assume you've already scratched up the body good.

lol please explan that sway bar design i really would like to make one. Also yupp it is ment for dual batteries but they are smaller then standard ones. You just have to change the pinion and buy the y harness and its all set to go. as for the body it is scratched up along with the wing lol i have destroyed 3 bodyclips cause they get all bent up. I would say go for it and the vxl its a dream lol

Urgent help needed.

I shaved the 45 tooth stock spur gear on a 11.1v lipo. my question is what would make it go faster
45(stock)
50
55
and what pinion gear combined with the spur would make it go fastest
16
19
23
26
31

25tooth is the speed pinion.

what would make it go fastest and possibly make the motor run cooler

thanks again

the more teeth you have on your pinion and the less you have on your spur gives higher speed, but that will also make your motor work 10x harder, and i think might also shorten run times b/c u'd be killing your battery faster...

so would you recommend just sticking with the stock set up if i don't want to kill my motor prematurely?

ummmm, idk its up to you. i probably would stick w/ stock, but then i again, i think that if you burn out a motor traxxas replaces it, but don't quote me on that. If your racing i guess you'd be best off with a high speed truck, otherwise theres no reason to go fast besides just for the hell of it. One last thing if you don't run it too hard with the speed set up u'll prolly be alright, idt traxxas would make a gear combo that would kill their product...

Completly horrible idea...using a Slash as a Drift car.... Its an off road truck. You need a touring car. I have an Awsome Drift car for sale and It has only been used a couple times... you can make it brushless. HPI E-10
Here the FS thread. http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17663

But don't kill a Slash trying to make a Drift Car???

The Revo looks awsome. It is on my list of the cars I want to get soon. I use to have a full size Gas Revo a couple years ago and loved it. I really want this mini Revo.

Also to add to XXXs comment i think all of the extra suspension these trucks have might cause your truck to sway or flip sideways in stead of drift

well the whole reason behind that was cause he still wanted to go off road cause we have alot of grass and stuff but a straigh away street. He decided to scrap that idea.

I will take what you said into consideration and keep it stock gearing.

Deffinentaly put the merv at the top of your list. the only thing is they dont do to good in grass but other wise they are a freaking blast. best money spent
