Default What L.E.Ds do i use

im doin some custom mods to an evo truck, ive made it wheelie on command which is pretty cool but now i wanna add some custom led bars but im not sure what size they should be, when i say size i mean voltage, im looking for surface mount leds but ive no idea what voltage they have to be as i had a set and when i tested them by connecting them to a set of lithiums i fried them so now i need to buy more, so what size do i need and where can i buy them from. i really am stuck and do need help, so please please please dig deep and help me out

most LED run around 3-3.5V give or take 0.2v. and most will max out at 3.5v. so 2 AAA with be more than enough to power 4 at max power without burning them out(AAA runs 1.5V) if you use a 9v you will burn out the LED since its a 9V and the LED maxes out at 3.5v.

on my car im running 2 7000mcd at 3.3v, 2 1100 at 3.6v, and 2 red 10mcd at 2.6v on 2 AAA's. i wired them up to have 2 headlights, 2 fog lights and 2 taillights. and they are all 5mm
