Project APR drift Lancer

Well I decided to strip the paint from my drift Lancer and turn it into the APR drift Lancer in Tokyo Drift.








Wheres what I got done so far.


Masked off the windows, added body filler, and primer






Did some work to the hood. I cant find my stock body kit so its more work for me.

i believe there is a revell model kit for that one...for the decals and details and stuff...good luck with it...i believe B1G did one of these at one point as well...

Thanks guys. Im goin to try to make it good. But heres what I got done in the past few days.


I laid a white base coat, and the color coat on the body.








Next on the list.

Find stickers/ make decals, and work on body kit

EDIT..... I found some decals i can scale down and print.

the paint look a bit rough. maybe should have checked paint compatibility, prep work, and smoothed stuff out after your primer dried before laying basecoats.

Ill wet sand it with some fine grit polishing pads. Then spray it again.

So hows this project going? I'm curious, do you have the kit for APR drift lancer, and did you use the spoiler to put on your GTR?

Not very well. Really havent had time to do it cause of work....But the body paint is crap. I have to strip it and redo it. I think i didnt clean it good enough. Im gonna use the wide body kit cause i cant find the stock one so i cant call it a replica. And as for the spoiler, it just to weak. I bumped the frig and it broke. So im going to keep it for models only, and Ill buy one close to APR one. I also have to get more red paint.
