Can i use this battery?
Today when i was at my friends house, we were watching tv, and i was bored so i flip out my phone, and pull the battery off it, after a closer inspection, i learned that it is a littium ion battery. Can i use my cell phone batter on my xmod, its really thin and light, it weighs less then 1 aaa, and holds 6-7 volts of power. could i use this battery? Has anyone tried this?

those flat sqared batteries are Lithium polymers.
They have similar voltage to the li-ions:3,7V per cell(3,6 is the li-ion)and of course need to be charged differently(with charger setted on4,2V per cells instead of 4,1 of the li-ions). However they have more capacity but most of all an hiegher discharge rate. But usually the phone's lipo are not so powerfull, because isn't needed to have 8Amps of discharge. I suggest to use lipo only if you have really hot motors in drag race(plasmatomic draws 8,4 A under load,X-2ls pro 4,6 ò NO LOAD ) In this case I'd go for a thunder power 730 mAh,2S(7,4V),15C or an rc system 830 mAh,2S,12C Bigger pack, with higher capacity are very difficult to fit on xmods, because of the dimension(especially for gen1) if you wanna know more search for some flying models shop or forum, those models use,if electric powered, almost anly lipo because of their capacity, low weight and discharge rate. Hope helped!

They are not always li poly's usually they are prismatic li-ions.
