So I buy a gen 1 vette body from AM
And it says to use no spacer and the shortest configuration for chassis length and an evo rear clip vette from body clip, yada yada yada common stuff. Well I take my spacer off reconfigure the chassis length to the shortest possible using the right clips. I go to put the body on and the front AND back wheels still rub. I'm not using big wheels either, just GT-R stock wheels and normal soft slick tires. They rub way too much to just shave the body and even if minor shaving was required, I really don't wanna mess up this body since it's discontinued. Please can anyone tell me if they had the same problem? I really like this body and wanna use it as my primary body because I don't plan on painting this one like all my others and that means i can run it without worrying about the paint coming off as bad.
SORRY FOR LONG POST. thanks in advance though. |

drill out a hole in the evo clip... use the smallest screw driver and make the hole right in front of the other one....

Yeah good point... erm... it's like so:
Hard to see I know but the second hole is above the stock one if you lay it flat...
