Quick google search turned up this on Wiki :

Quote:
XMODS are 1:28 scale electric radio-controlled cars. The cars' primary marketing focus is on customization, and they are available in a variety of body styles and types traditionally favored by tuners. Fall 2005 saw the introduction of a new model line dubbed "Evolution" which also features a line of trucks. The cars are distributed by RadioShack in the United States, by Hobby Products International (HPI Racing) in Japan and by Carson Modellsport (Subdivision of Tamiya Germany) in Europe.

That's only saying distributed it. Not who makes it. From what I understand, RadioShack manufactures it and is contraced by HPI and Carson Modellsport to distribute them overseas.

Anyone notice my Evo Xmods on that Wiki page?... And the 3rd Gen Xmods section I made...

This has been brought up here before. I'm 99% sure HPI is just a distributor. mytitan, please use the search function before posting something like this, just to make sure it hasnt been done before.
