Default - Project Supra -

Finally get to work on a rare mini-z supra body, got this one is a deal, and since I have 2 same supra, so why not use one as a project. Here's what I've done so far.

Yup, that's what I'm gonna do.

Update: putty added.

Not too sure if I want to go wingless, so I didn't fill up the spoiler's holes.

looks like you have a pretty good start. Do you have a paint scheme in mind yet?

maybe you could shave the wing that it comes with or cut the wing up and make your own wing from styrene, using the stock wing mounts to mount it

Thanks guys! The final color of the car will be gloss black, and still haven't make up my mind on the spoiler yet, I like both wingless and spoiler, but if I do go with the spoiler, I will go for the stock supra spoiler.

Update: Left trail lights = custom, right tail lights = stock.

Ooh nice! I like the exhaust how you make it look like its real by adding, well you know everything! Lookin good so far. I personally as I said before think you should go with the spoiler, though a stock supra spoiler would look good.

Thanks guys, the muffler is made out of xmods controller antenna, and to keep it scale, I used paper clips to make the mount. And like I said, still haven't make up my mind on the spoiler yet. xD I will have a stock xmods supra spoiler coming in soon, so I will see how it works out for me, if not I can always go wingless. =]

Time for update: Not a major update, just some small details of the car. Have a little free time today after school, so I worked on the headlights lense, my goal is to get it to looks like the stock supra lense, my first try was alright. (I started with the right headlight lense) First I sand down the outside of the lense, using sandpapers, fellow by 400>1500>2000 grit.

After sanding.

After clear coat.

And compare it to the stock JGTC supra lense. (stock lense on the left side)

That wasn't bad, but I can still see some very tiny micro scratches, so I will re-do that right side lense along with the rear tail lights lense.

And for my second try, I did it on the left headlights lense. It came out just the way I wanted.

From an different angle.

Mini-Z Supra are more detailed than the Xmods Supra, plus I have the money. =p And as far as I know, no one have done a Mini-Z Street Supra.

Update: Got a little work done on the left side skirt and the door. Still need more sanding though.

Also re-installed the SAS Pro and the T.A.R. differentials.

Cool Supra, I thought I saw one, but it didn't look too realistic, but this one does look realistic.
